If you are considering a destination wedding (and you adore mountain air and sprawling views), we’re pretty sure Asheville should be on your list! We love shooting in North Carolina, and Asheville has a special place in our hearts. It’s a wonderful location for a wedding and one we’re always down to travel to. For this shoot, a private estate near Lake Lure provided the perfect backdrop. The entire vibe for the shoot was mountainside romance. It had a touch of boho, a little bit of modern, but at the core, still timelessly beautiful. Which y’all know is our JAM!
The greenery bouquet was ridic (in a good way) and the place setting had a beautiful, clean/crisp feeling. The dark blue kozo paper used as place cards provided a beautiful contrast with the neutral tablescape. And the charger plate had a really cool shape- which worked great with the softer element like the candles & fabric.
The portraits taken in the lake are some of our favorites. We love when a couple can kick-off their shoes and immerse themselves in nature.
