Carrie Darling Events did an incredible job with this wedding at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort. We love when we have the chance to meet up with our couples prior to their wedding day – and we were lucky enough to photograph Ellen and Brandon in their hometown of Atlanta for their engagement shoot at the Swan Coach House. So when we got to see them again the night prior to their wedding for a little “pre” rehearsal dinner shoot – it was like seeing old friends!
Saturday featured an elegant white and dark green color scheme, and this wedding came together splendidly from the invitations and other wedding stationery done by Simply Put Paper to the rentals provided by Trinity Event Rentals and Swag Decor. An outdoor beach ceremony accentuated the beautiful landscape of the water and the aisle was lined with substantial greenery to create the perfect walkway for our couple. The bride stunned in an Allison Webb New York trim fit, satin gown with gorgeous intricate beaded detail. The bridal look was completed by Duality Artistry, giving this bride a modelesque look for her special day. Isn’t She Lovely Florals provided the most beautiful arrangements of white roses, daisies and other white florals accompanied by bold greenery that complimented the stark white in incredible contrast.
The ceremony was followed by a ballroom reception with natural rattan lanterns that hung from the ceiling to provide the perfect ambiance for a romantic, intimate setting with subtle FL beach vibes. Guests enjoyed a plated meal and were treated to a four-tiered wedding cake by Sassy Cakes Inc., donned with white florals for dessert. The evening continued with music, dancing and a wonderful celebration for the bride and groom. The evenings events were captured on video by I Heart Film Studios.
