Sparkling turquoise waters were the backdrop for this La Playa Resort wedding planned by SBS Weddings. The invitations from Gus and Ruby Letterpress were white with soft blue lettering and floral embroidered coordinating envelopes. The bride chose a mermaid style gown with spaghetti straps and subtle floral embroidery and strappy white shoes. Her hair was swept into a low chignon with sparkling floral accessory by Naples Makeup Artistry to display her flawless makeup and drop pearl earrings. She carried a pastel hand tied bouquet created by Floral Symphony that coordinated with the groom’s peach and light blue boutonniere. The ceremony overlooked the water while rows of white chairs created the aisle on the resort’s lush lawn. Softly colored floral arrangements added color to both sides of the aisle. The groom met his bride at the end of the aisle dressed in a three-piece navy blue suit.

While guests mingled during the cocktail hour, we captured portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. during a beach stroll. White linens with a blue floral design topped the tables at the indoor reception while colorful floral arrangements made up the centerpieces flanked by tall white taper candles in clear glass candleholders. Clear glass plates with silver edging and a blue cloth napkin on top created the place settings for guests to indulge in a three course meal. After a delicious cake from Sweetified, guests headed to the dance floor to celebrate with music by Wiley Entertainment. A magnificent firework display topped off this magical event.
