There aren’t many chances in this industry to truly shoot alongside another photographer friend. Sure—we’re often shoulder-to-shoulder with our favorite planners, florists, and filmmakers. But another photographer? Almost never. Which is why second shooting with our photo bestie (and Goodlight Presets partner) Austin Trenholm was such a treat. We don’t usually second shoot, but this weekend gave us the rare chance to capture a celebration together—and it was every bit as fun as you’d imagine.
Cody and Austin are used to traveling often for Goodlight Presets, and anyone who knows them knows they’ll always carve out time for a great meal and a glass of wine together. And they didn’t miss the chance this trip either—mixing in some incredible food with a weekend of photographing side by side for the very first time.
The welcome party, rehearsal, and wedding all took place at Lion Rock Farm in Sharon, Connecticut, a setting that blended natural beauty with laid-back New England charm.
If the welcome night set the tone, the wedding day was defined by striking style—from her fashion-forward basque-waist gown to the unconventional bouquet that made every detail feel unforgettable.
