Your Guide to The Best Marco Island Wedding Venues

Marco Island – where dazzling natural landscapes meet curated luxury experiences.

Located just off the southwestern coast of Florida and connected to the city of Naples by bridge, Marco Island is easily one of the state’s most popular destinations. And, as more and more couples choose the island for their big day, it’s easy to see why; miles of pristine beaches, waves lapping gently at the shore, opulent boutique resorts tucked along the coastline… need we say more?

Of course, one of the most important decisions you will make during the wedding planning process is selecting your venue. It’s important to choose a location that feels authentic to both your wedding day vision and who you + your partner are as a couple. There will of course be many other factors to contend with afterward (the venue’s maximum capacity, any partnerships they have in place with local vendors, etc.), but what really matters is choosing the venue that feels right. To get you started, check out a few of our favorite Marco Island venues:

JW Marriott Marco Island

The JW Marriott resort on Marco Island is an excellent location for oceanside ceremonies, as it is home to South Florida’s largest stretch of private beach. Their “I Do” locations include the beach itself (with wonderful chickee huts to ground the ceremony as desired), a lawn overlooking the water near the resort’s amazing spa, the Calusa Terrace overlooking the Gulf, and the elegant indoor Calusa Ballroom. The JW Marriott truly offers the best of Marco Island, and will happily host all of your events — from your welcome party to your farewell brunch and everything in between! — on-site. Best of all, their team of event planners are eager to bring the unique elements of the island’s culture into the fold as they help craft your big day — did someone say flamenco dancers?

Why Hunter Ryan loves it:

  • Seats up to 300 guests.
  • Offers indoor + outdoor locations for both ceremonies and receptions.
  • The ability to host all wedding events on-site.

Hilton Marco Island

Our next venue, the Hilton at Marco Island, is best known for its incredible beachfront lawn space. Perfect for an al fresco rehearsal dinner, the Hilton also offers a variety of amenities including a heated outdoor pool, fresh local cuisine crafted by executive chef Corey Hepburn, and even a mobile snack and beverage cart!

Why Hunter Ryan loves it:

  • Seats up to 520 guests.
  • An incomparable craft cocktail selection.
  • A lawn perfect for brides who want a beachfront ceremony without actually being on the beach.

Hideaway Beach Club

The Hideaway Beach Club is another of our long-time favorite spots for every kind of wedding weekend gathering. From their incredible ocean views to their luxury dining experiences, the Hideaway is difficult to beat. And the best part? The Club sits on a protected nature preserve, providing the perfect backdrop of vibrant greenery for a post-ceremony photo session.

Why Hunter Ryan loves it:

  • Seats up to 100 guests.
  • Excellent for scenic sunset photos.
  • An elegant indoor ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Sale e Pepe

A fine dining establishment directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Sale e Pepe is well-known for their incredible menu of housemade pasta dishes and rare Italian wines. In addition to their food and beverage offerings, though, the restaurant also frequently rents out their Sunset Terrace and Gulf Ballroom spaces for weddings and other special events.

Why Hunter Ryan loves it:

Unbeatable sunset views from the terrace.

Seats up to 100 guests.

Features an incredible boardwalk that leads out onto the beach — and can be used as an aisle for your ceremony.
